Edinburgh, Scotland

I went on a weekend trip to Edinburgh, Scotland with my friend Lonnie in February. It was a quick weekend, but there were really cheap flights ($30 roundtrip!) so I could not pass up the opportunity.

I fell in love with Scotland. The accents were very thick and even a little hard for me to understand, but the country is beautiful. We spent most of our time in the city, but rented a car one day and drive through the Scottish Highlands (on the wrong side of the road!) and even went to visit Nessie at Loch Ness.

I highly recommend taking a trip to Scotland. The countryside is beautiful, and there is a lot of history in the city. I can only imagine what it is like during spring and summer....lucious and green.

I had to push her next to him in order to get a picture. I have always loved bagpipes!
