Valencia

Valencia was AMAZING and probably my favorite city! We arrived in Valencia when it was a little dark outside. We were pretty awake, so we toured a lot of the city on foot at night. It was oddly light outside, even though it was night time.

My two favorite things in this city were the Plaza de Virgen an La Catedral. Everyone hangs out at the Plaza and skateboards, juggles, etc. It is a huge Plaza made of concrete/marble and is in front of La Catedral. La Catedral is the church that is said to house the Holy Grail. It is an amazingly gorgeous church, both inside and out.

We went to a real Supermercado one night and bought groceries and ate in a park. We ate gelato one night by La Catedral, which was delicious - mine was tiramisu flavored. We went to the beach an chilled out by the Mediterranean Sea for two hours one day. This was an amazing city, and I wished we had more time there! I highly recommend it to anyone.

El mercado. This was definitely a cultural experience as well! An open market of meats, fish, fruits and vegetables, as well as olives, cheeses, etc.

Yummy tiramisu!

The mock-up of La Catedral. It was huge!

This was the biggest tree I had ever seen
