I got done with my 2nd semester in late June, had a week off, then will be in summer school and working all of July. There won't be much traveling, but should be some mini-trips throughout Denmark. So these will be some random pictures explained :)
And as a note, my professor that was responsible for getting me to Aarhus (Dr. Mike Shaner from SLU) was teaching in Denmark at the ESSAM Summer School program this past 2 weeks - so it was exciting to see him. Susanne met him and listened to one of his lectures on personality traits, and Anne and I met him for lunch one day (Anne is the Dane who went on exchange to SLU for a semester and had Shaner as a professor, too.)
I love this picture

Where the speakers were - I am glad I went to see what this was like, but it definitely was not what I expected at all. This is the world's largest 4th of July celebration outside of the US, which is kind of cool in itself.

At summer houses and in these little garden houses Danes have, they always raise a Danish flag when they are home. The boys are raising Mathias' red swim trunks instead

I have never seen a) a jelly fish and b) so many in one place. But apparentely these are good ones that don't sting, and they were all over the beach!

A skill I am trying to acquire while over here: being able to open bottled beverages with a lighter. I can do it, but I need some practice
