Studenterhus

The Studenterhus is an organization for international students in the city from all schools and universities. Its kind of a place that organizes activities and functions for people to participate in. Every Tuesday night is international night where you go to the bar/club, hang out, and meet people from all over the world.

We have become pretty good friends with the Germans in our classes. Kind of sad and kind of funny, but all nationalities clump together. In a class at any given time, you know where the Danes are, where the Germans are, where the French are, and where the TWO Americans are! This semester, Rachel and my program have the same four prerequisite classes, so we have class together every day (BPM and Marketing). The Germans in the marketing program are really cool and very nice - we love to hang out with them. So one Tuesday night in September, we went to Studenterhus with them.

Again, funny thing is, shots are the cheapest thing to drink sometimes! They definitely are not as strong as American shots, and there are two main kinds: this black licorice shot I can't remember the name of, and a Fisherman shot, which is like peppermint. You can get 10 shots for 100 kroner, which is $20 USD. So 10 shots for 2 bucks each!

Jonathan Jacquin (actually doesn't go to ASB with us - he is an exchange student, so only here for 6 months, and is from France), and Florian.
